Do I need a credit card ?

What time is check-in and checkout?
Hotel standard check in time is 3:00PM local time and check out is 11:00AM local time. Early check in or late checkout may be available upon request. Fees may Apply. Request an early check in or late check out here.

What do I need for check in?
Hotel requires a government issued ID and a valid credit card presented at check in. A $250 security deposit is required for debit or cash paying guests. Credit cards presented at check-in are subject to a pre-authorization for the entire amount of the room and tax, plus $100 per day deposit.

Do you accept checks or prepaid cards for payment?
Neither personal checks nor prepaid cards are accepted.
Can I pay with a different card at checkout?
Yes! You can pay for your stay on your preferred method of payment upon checkout. Pre-authorizations held on cards that are not used will be released in 3-5 business days, dependent on your financial institution for the card. Any cash or debit deposits will be refunded based on a room check upon departure.
Can I pay for someone else's reservation?
We have options available that will allow a reservation to be paid for by a 3rd party within a minimum of 48 hours in advance of arrival. Third party payments are not accepted over the phone, email, or fax. Secure digital payment options or direct billing is available but must be requested in advance. Direct billing options are subject to credit application approval. Email us to arrange for advance payment arrangements or to pay for a reservation online.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate or type of reservation that is made. Some rates do not permit cancellations, require pre-payment, and do not offer refunds. Our Best Available Rate is the most flexible rate which allows cancellation up until 4pm on the arrival date, and does not require pre-payment. Read all terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation or call the hotel for assistance at 204-594-0333.
Can I get a copy of my receipt?
Hotel folios can be requested by contacting the hotel directly at info@merehotel.com. Folios will only be sent to the registered guest on file, and are not available for all rates booked. If you have booked and paid through a third party (like Expedia, Booking.com etc), you must request your receipt from them, the hotel does not have this information to provide.
Restaurant
Do you have a restaurant on site?
Cibo Waterfront Cafe is located just steps behind Mere Hotel. Cibo is open daily for lunch and dinner, and their menu can be found online at www.cibowaterfrontcafe.com. There are many other food and beverage options with close walking distance nearby including James Ave Pumphouse, Nonsuch Brewing Co., Patent 5 Distillery, SMITH Restaurant, Hy's Steakhouse, and Darling Bar.
What are the hours of the restaurant?
Cibo Waterfront Cafe is open from 11:30AM to 10:00PM Sunday to Thursday and 11:30AM to 11:00PM on Friday and Saturday.
Is Breakfast Available?
Cibo Waterfront Cafe is not open for breakfast, but other breakfast options are available. Nearby, Harrison's Coffee, and Colosimo Coffee Roasters offer quick and light breakfast options, espresso, tea, and coffee, or you can order breakfast to your room using a food delivery service such as Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, or Door Dash.
Is Room Service Available?
Cibo Waterfront Cafe accepts orders from Hotel guests to be delivered to the hotel front desk for pick up. In your room, scan the QR code for the menu and dial 2014 to order. When your order will ready it will be delivered to the hotel front desk and you will be notified to come pick it up. Charges will be billed to your hotel folio.
Can I charge my meal to my room?
Cibo Waterfront Cafe now offers room charges for guests staying in the hotel. For takeout orders or dine-in, let your server know what room you are staying in and that you would like to have your meal charged to your room.
Parking
Do you have parking?
Limited on-site parking is available for overnight hotel guests. Fees apply. Additional overflow parking may be available in nearby paid lots or metered street locations. Please make sure you read all signs before you park as the hotel is not responsible for tickets or towing that occurs off hotel property. How much does parking cost?
Parking fees of $21 per vehicle, per night, apply for cars parked in the hotel parking lot. Parking fee is subject to change.
Can I reserve parking in advance?
Parking is available on a 1st come 1st served basis.
Where do I park if hotel parking is full?
Additional overflow parking may be available in nearby paid lots or metered street locations. Please make sure you read all signs before you park as the hotel is not responsible for tickets or towing that occurs off hotel property. Is there RV/Semi/trailer parking available on site?
There is no RV/semi or trailer parking available at the hotel. The closest option is about 0.5 miles away at The Forks (Parcel 4), additionally private parking lots in the area may have options. or through some private company parking lots. Parking for oversized vehicles including RV's, semis, trailers, and boats, must be arranged in advance, and is the responsibility of the guest. The hotel is unable to make these arrangements on behalf of the guest. Contact The Forks, Impark, or Indigo to inquire.
Do you have electric car charging stations onsite?
Yes, there is one EV charging station in the Mere Hotel parking lot available for overnight guests. Parking fees apply.
Hotel Services
Do you have a gym?
Onsite fitness center is available to guests 24/7 and is limited in size. A full facility gym is available at the Sport Manitoba (5 min walk). Day pass is available at the front desk for purchase.
Does the hotel have a business center?
A dedicated business centre is not available, but select services are available at the hotel front desk. Fees may apply.
Do you have laundry facilities on site?
The hotel does not have laundry machines onsite for guest use, but does offer same-day Valet Laundry Service Monday - Friday (no service is available on holidays).
Is there a spa?
There is no spa at Mere Hotel. Visit our sister hotel Inn at the Forks for Riverstone Spa, a luxury spa experience at The Forks (5 min drive, 20 min walk).
Do you have a pool or jacuzzi?
There is no pool or jacuzzi at the hotel.
Do you have an airport shuttle?
The hotel does not provide an airport shuttle. We recommend using a ride share app like Uber, or using a taxi service. Both are readily available at the airport.
Room Amenities
Do you have fridge and microwave in room?
All rooms are equipped with a mini fridge. Microwave is available upon request, based on availability.
Is there in room movie rental (on demand or PPV)?
There is no in-room movie rental option. Regular cable channels are available.
Do you have connecting rooms?
There are no connecting rooms available at the hotel. You can request rooms to be close together when you make your reservation. The hotel will make every effort to honor the request but it is not guaranteed.
Is there a sofa or pull-out couch in room?
All guestrooms have built in bench seating but do not have pull-out couch. Cots are available in select rooms, based on available. Requests for cots must be made in advance.
Is there a bathtub in the room?
All guestrooms at Mere Hotel have a large walk-in rainshower. There are no bathtubs in the rooms at the hotel.
What amenities are available in the room?
All guestrooms at Mere Hotel have Nespresso coffee machines, mini-fridges, bedside USB ports, windows that open, and offer a selection of beverages and snacks available for purchase.
Events and Group Bookings
Does the hotel have a meeting space?
Hotel has boardroom space that can accommodate 12 attendees. Full and partial rentals are available. The boardroom at mere features a wall of floor to ceiling windows to allow ample natural light, a full whiteboard wall for efficient collaboration, and a TV screen with wireless and wired connectivity. Free WIFI is available. Request a proposal here.
Do you provide catering?
We do not provide catering services. No outside catering fees.
Do you have group rates available?
Group rates may be available for group blocks of 10+ guestrooms. Contact the hotel directly to request a group rate here.
Are there corporate rates available?
Yes! Corporate rates are available.To qualify for a preferred corporate rate, an annual minimum number of room nights may be required. Contact us to request a negotiated corporate rate for your company.
Pet policy
Is the hotel pet friendly?
Yes! Mere Hotel is a pet friendly hotel. Rooms accommodating pets are located on the main floor, which allows easy and quick access outdoors to ample greenspace. $35 non-refundable pet fee applies.
What is your pet policy?
$35 per night (nonrefundable) pet fee is required. No size and weight limit. Service animals are allowed with proper documentation for no additional fee.
Gift Cards
Do you sell gift cards?
Gift cards are available for purchase at our front desk and can be used at Mere Hotel or Cibo Waterfront Cafe. Gift cards have no expiry date.
